As L&D leaders and practitioners, most of us are fortunate to have a vast amount of data. We get data from our financial, learning management systems and evaluation systems. We generate hundreds of standard reports weekly and our users are generating more of their own. But, for all the promises of big data, most of us are drowning in stats with limited time to consume—let alone act on all of this information. Gaining insights is a desire but not a reality for most of us, most of the time.
